| There is a wealth of available information and you should pick one weight loss plan that appears reasonable to you. Following a healthy diet and doing regular exercise can be a slow way to lose weight so people often try dangerous ways instead. Most normally, women are using these drastic methods as they feel pressured into being thin by society. Our society presses women into being thin so they oftentimes choose these risky weight loss methods. Everyone wishes to be at their best weight, but when you imperil your overall health in your pursuit to lose weight, you run the danger of becoming ill. Here, I'll be telling you about these methods so that you can avoid them. The most common drastic diet plan is starvation; not consuming much food at all, resulting in your energy levels dropping. You may just not eat breakfast or lunch, or maybe both meals. In your mind, you tell yourself that you're not starved even though your belly is grumbling like crazy, screaming I want to be fed!. The body is really adaptable, however, and starts to adjust to its new reality. Because your body believes it is being starved, it slackens the metabolism process in order to save energy, causing you to burn less fat than you normally would. When you choose to eat normally once more, your metabolism will still be somewhat slow, so you will store calories more easily, resulting in you putting on all of that fat faster. You will lose weight by starving yourself, but not as much as you would with a correct diet and workout plan. Isn't it better to eat, be healthy and shed off even more pounds? Anorexia can occur when you starve yourself again and again. You begin to be always fearful that you will become obese and so you fear food, eat as little as possible, and become perilously thin. Anorexia can cause a weaker immune system, hair loss and even death. A lot of teenagers try starvation diets but, when you become obsessed with starving yourself, it can eventually turn into anorexia which can damage your body and your health. Binge eating is another thing to consider. Individuals who use this method consume huge amounts of food and then regurgitate so that the calories do not stay in their body. These individuals aren't scared of food as anorexics are, rather the opposite: they will binge on great amounts of food and then feel mortified so they sick it back up. As opposed to anorexia and starvation where it is obvious that the person is losing weight, bulimia is tough to detect because the weight doesn't fluctuate widely. Vomiting the food you've eaten is not good for your body. It can have bad effects on your heart, liver and kidneys. You may acquire stomach ulcers as a result of the constant regurgitating. Your esophagus may be harmed by the stomach acid and your teeth could lose their enamel. The acid can also cause injury to your throat. You can badly harm your body by vomiting your food. For optimum results, choose healthy foods and eat moderately. Consume smaller food portions and avoid eating unhealthy foods. It is possible to actually lose weight without trying such unsafe methods. healthy eating | |
